Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use DraftRPG. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms with you. The Service is available in jurisdictions where fantasy sports games are legal; you're responsible for confirming local legality.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• One account per person. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent guild caps, ban evasion, or other game-balance limits is grounds for suspension.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users. Display names and guild names must not include slurs, sexual content, or harmful content directed at others.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, or use the Service via tools we didn't sanction. Reporting bugs is welcome; exploiting them is not.
• Scrape, mirror, or commercially redistribute Service data without permission.
• Reverse-engineer the Service to extract trade secrets or for competitive cloning.
• Use the Service for any illegal activity in your jurisdiction.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (display name, guild name, feedback messages). You grant us a non-exclusive license to display this content within the Service. We may remove content that violates these terms at our discretion. To report content that infringes your copyright, see our DMCA / copyright complaints procedure.

Intellectual property

DraftRPG, its game design, code, art, and branding are owned by us. Professional sports league names, team names, player names, statistics, and trademarks referenced or incorporated by reference in the Service are property of their respective rights holders; DraftRPG uses these names for informational and identification purposes only (nominative fair use) and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, players' association, team, or athlete. DraftRPG does not currently incorporate league or team logos or player likenesses.

Tip jar & supporter contributions

DraftRPG is free to play. The Service offers optional contributions (the “tip jar”) processed by Stripe. Contributions are voluntary, do not unlock gameplay advantages beyond cosmetic recognition (e.g. a supporter badge), and are generally non-refundable. If you contributed accidentally or believe a charge was unauthorized, contact support@draftrpg.com within 14 days.

Virtual currency (Gold)

“Gold” is an in-game virtual currency used for player drafting, supporter cosmetics, and other in-game purchases. Gold:

• Has no real-world monetary value. Gold is not currency, a security, a commodity, or a financial instrument.
• Is non-transferable between accounts. You cannot trade, gift, sell, or assign Gold to another user.
• Is non-redeemable. Gold cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes, or external goods of any kind.
• May be adjusted at our discretion — including reset, removal, or balance changes — to maintain game balance, address abuse, or reflect feature changes.

If your account is terminated, deleted, or suspended for any reason, any Gold balance is forfeited and not eligible for refund. We make no representations regarding the value, longevity, or exchangeability of Gold.

Virtual currency (Glory)

“Glory” is an in-game currency earned by disenchanting items and used for in-game progression. Glory:

• Has no real-world monetary value. Glory is not currency, a security, a commodity, or a financial instrument.
• Is non-purchasable. Glory cannot be acquired with real-world money; it is earned exclusively through in-game actions.
• Is non-transferable between accounts. You cannot trade, gift, sell, or assign Glory to another user.
• Is non-redeemable. Glory cannot be exchanged for cash, prizes, or external goods of any kind.
• Disenchanting is a one-way conversion. Items converted to Glory are permanently consumed. We make no warranty that historical items can be recovered.
• May be adjusted at our discretion — including reset, removal, or balance changes — to maintain game balance, address abuse, or reflect feature changes.

Achievements, badges & displays

The Service displays in-game achievements, trophies, badges, seasonal trios, and similar progression markers on your profile and on public leaderboards. These displays:

• Have no real-world value. Achievements are cosmetic recognition only; they are not property, securities, or redeemable for cash, prizes, or external goods.
• May be lost, modified, or removed without compensation. Achievements may be reset, rebalanced, renamed, or removed at our discretion for game balance, to address abuse, due to feature changes, or as part of season transitions. Loss of an achievement display does not entitle you to a refund, replacement, or other consideration.
• Marketing language is descriptive, not contractual. Phrases like “permanent profile flex,” “lifetime,” or “forever” describe design intent, not a binding warranty. The Service-availability and Termination sections below govern actual retention.

Service availability

The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that gameplay events will resolve in any particular way. Weekly stat ingest depends on third-party data sources we don't control.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Danger Zone. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations) survive termination.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you contributed to the tip jar in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Kentucky.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
